C’mon, we all know what Yoga is, don’t we?!
Let’s get more precise: What’s Yoga? What exactly do I do when I’m saying I’m doing Yoga?
First of all I practice some postures (Asana), breath exercises (Pranayama), concentration (Dharana) and meditation (Dhyana).
I follow some rules in my diet, my thoughts, feelings, and attitudes.
So yes, Yoga means always (!) also these strange postures that we associate in our minds with Yoga. But Yoga goes way beyond that!
You’ll ask: Why are we doing something like that? What’s the purpose of Yoga?
